That means the sunlight can power our lights, TVs and other appliances. But did you know that we can harness this energy and store for times of real need? Yes, we can! Now, this is a special way of storing solar energy, which is solar storage. It’s a little like saving some sunshine for the future!
Combine now offers an excellent way to store solar energy. We provide solar battery storage systems so you can hold onto the energy we capture from the sun. This is very useful because it implies that when the sun goes down during the night or even when it’s cloudy outside, you are able to utilize the energy you saved. Wind or Wind Turbines: Another great renewable energy source. It drives our homes and buildings, particularly in areas with abundant wind. However, sometimes we don’t have enough wind to provide us with the energy we require. When there’s wind, we can’t always store all that extra energy, however. That’s where Combine saves the day.
While the way we store wind energy has come a long way with Combine. We harness excess energy generated by wind turbines and store it for use down the line. To achieve this we play with Lithium-Ion batteries, flywheels, and other cool energy storage opportunities. This way, we are able to harness collected energy even if they haven't blown outside, ensuring that it's always available when we need it.
Using special materials known as metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), we are able to ensure that hydrogen is safely stored. These MOFs act like sponges, absorbing hydrogen and preventing its escape until it is needed. This means that we can pumped hydrogen out when wewant energy and then transform it in electrical energy safely. It’s a key milestone in ensuring hydrogen is a viable clean energy source.
